Sick Care - When you're sick, a call to the office early in the day will help us schedule you for a same-day or next-day visit. A triage nurse is available every day from 8:00am until 4:30pm to answer your questions. If necessary, she will forward important information to your doctor.
Emergency Care - If you are experiencing a medical emergency or you believe you are experiencing a life threatening situation, call 911 immediately, or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital. Westfield Memorial Hospital continues to provide Emergency Room services. Our patients will be cared for by Emergency Room staff at all area hospitals and referred back to Family Health Medical Services for routine follow-up care.
Hospital Care - Beginning July 1, 2008, when our patients need to be admitted to the hospital to monitor a serious medical situation, they will be admitted to either Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY, or WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY. Our physician associates at those hospitals will provide care to our patients during their hospital stay, and refer our patients back to our practice for follow up care.
Medicor Associates, including Drs. Bishop, Bartholomew and Landis, provide inpatient care at Brooks Memorial Hospital. Dr. Tallet provides prenatal consultation and delivery. Drs. Vejendela and Bais provide inpatient care at WCA Hospital, and Dr. Daniels and Andrews provide prenatal consultation and delivery services for our patients in the south county area.
As our county health care system continues to change, our affiliations may also change. Pleae contact our office at 716-753-7107 for the most current information.
