| Participate in a National Heart Disease Study | |
|
FHMS is participating in a National Institute of Health study to determine whether Chelation is an appropriate alternative therapy for heart disease. Chelation is an intravenous infusion of EDTA. EDTA is an amino acid that binds with metals and minerals and holds them tightly so that they are removed from the body. It is believed that the metals and minerals add to the build up that clogs arteries. We are now recruiting participants. Have you had a heart attack? Are you over 50? Are you a non-smoker? Those who participate will join a nationwide effort to learn whether Chelation Therapy works, helping the medical community find new and effective treatments for heart disease. There is no cost to participate and all particpants will be closely monitored to ensure they receive the optimal standard of care for their heart disease. If you are interested in learning more, call the office @ 753-7107 in Mayville or 665-7007 in Jamestown. |
